Music, what gets you pumped up?

I'm just curious to see what people like, I'm looking for idea's aswell.

I enjoy all kinds of music, except country.. because.. yeah..

all I have on my ipod right now is every single tool song, and smash by offspring, I'm missing alot, going to start working on that right away.

I'm curious as to what everyone else listens to give them that extra boost, what gets you fired up?

sidenote: how do you download your music? I'm only use torrents right now, but I haven't downloaded much because I can only seem to find entire albums with torrents.

Barry Manilow, "Looks like we made it."

btw, pumped for what? My motivation comes from within. I love music, but don't need it to get pumped up to do anything. And I workout alone, always have.

Ok, sorry I mean like pumped for working out.. cardio.. etc..

I get pretty driven listening to certain tool songs, offspring, just something to focus on and continue to workout, music gets me going, I'm sure some people workout with music? =/

are you serious? ...

LOL. Although, I love that song, it doesn't get me pumped. Probably something mindless like AC/DC. Hell's Bells is an awesome song and I don't know why. Must be the allure of the devil.

I totally love AC/DC aswell, I used to be in sales selling stereos at one point, my job was basically to demonstrate awesome mind blowing.. ear ripping stereo equipment, get the customers pumped up on an emotional high then they are easy to sell too. =)

I made a kids nose bleed once these things were so loud we even broke one of the studs in the wall of our soundroom, heh (poorly built soundroom but still).

linkin park has some decent stuff, old metalica, even techno has it's moments.

When I had to take my mp3 player into the gym, due to their need to play Car Wash and Gospel songs once in awhile, I would listen to Cradle of Filth, Slipknot/Stone Sour, Drowning Pool, Powerman 5k, Hoobastank and other things.

I had CoF blaring one day, full volume, and they had gospel on and the old ladies were staring at my soul when they walked by and heard the music. Now, I really don't need to get pumped. If 25mg of Ephedra, around 1100 calories and 120 carbs can't get you ready to lift, music ain't doin the trick.

some good stuff in here, anyone listen to any techo?

there is one song.. stronger.. better.. faster.. harder.. something like that.. I don't know who it's by, but I'd really like to download it. =/

hatebreed

Pumped for cardio - dance/techno like ministry of sound, etc

Pumped for lifting - AC/DC, Wolfmother

Best songs: AC/DC Hard as a rock, Thunderstruck, High Voltage, It's a long way to the top, Hells Bells, Dirty Deeds and so on

sidenote: Limewire is still up.

b0und (rock on)

i dont venture out on the rock stuff that much - those listed are my favorites.

Lots of techno out there, as well as many many unpopular DJ's that have good stuff

That is what I listen to 90% of the time

I feel like I could stay up for days listening to techno, it really gets me amped up, my favorite techno song right now (out of the pitiful four I have)

would have to be by daft punk, harder, better, faster, stronger.

it's pretty kickass and hearing the words harder, better, faster, stronger, when you're working out are only motivating.

I need more good techno, I love jungle drum and base myself, used to have a hot neighbour when I was living downtown, she'd always play the best techno for me, aaand she was hot, bonus.
