Cakewalk plasma is new, I hear it's easy but havn't tried it yet.

If you're super hardcore and you have MIDI and other music backrounds go with Cubase SX. This is what the Pro's use.

cubase is the best one ive tried, but it's soooo hard to figure out. if you've used other programs you'd probably be able to work with it.

what OS do you have? i could upload it to you.


ACID is easy to use but has limited abilities.

yeah, i was thinking about going the cubase route, but all i hear is that it is hard as shit. im pretty well adapted to fruityloops, but i dont think im anywhere near the cubase level. i still need to get Reason though, and a couple of cd's worth of samples.

Those aer all you wil need... and u may not need Cubase.

If you have hardware synths/samplers then u need Cubase.
If you dont intend on buying any external gear then just get Reason. I only got Reason about 2 weeks ago, and Ill tell ya it is awsome.

music programs? none right now besides Cubase. my HD crashed 2 weeks ago so i had to replace everything.


if you meant all programs, music or not, i have alot. (OS's, photo editing programs, internet security, etc.) my good friend and both his parent's are software engineers that work for Cisco and Network ICE. they have pirated copies of just about any software you could need. he has an FTP site to download from. i'm not sure if he has all the programs on there but i'll check. i'll get the address today and PM you it if he does.
