muscle to fat ratio

styles

New member
i have a cople of questions, i am 22 years old.

first of all, to reduce body fat, does calcium pyruvate work well in comjunction to a good diet, weight training, and cardio?

eating past 8:00pm is a sure way to maintain body fat, corect?

and last, would taking hgh help balance out fat and muscle ratio? where could i accuire some?

thankx

i am 22 as well. My muscle to BF ratio went from 4.9 to 1 in january to 6.3 to one currently. Went from 17.1% to 13.5% BF and lost little muscle. What is your BF % and how much do you weigh?? I can probably help you out.

Actually you can eat up till 8:17pm and not gain fat, so long as the moon is not full.

All kidding aside this is one of the lamest myths about losing weight and it just won't die. It's the calories you consume during the day that will make a difference in weight gain or loss, not some magic meal eaten past a certain time. Certainly there is some truth to the myth if you were to eat a huge meal right before bed, but that's a far cry from simply eating past a certain time. Also who came up with 8pm? What if you don't go to bed until 2am? So you have to starve for 6 hours, then sleep for 8 hours and be in a catabolic state for over 14 hours to keep from getting fat?

If you want to be safe then don't eat a good hour or 2 before bed and don't eat a lot of carbs. Even then it's not written in stone. I frequently used to eat a meal with a decent amount of carbs as little as an hour before bed and still lost fat. Just keep the meal size within reason and keep the GI of the carbs low. I was more worried about catabolism during the night than I was gaining fat in my sleep. If I ate 400 calories before bed I'm sure I'd burn that many off in just the time I finished the meal until I woke up the next morning.

Just remember if you eat too many calories during the day then no matter how early your last meal is you will gain weight. Plain and simple.
