Muscle pulls off-cycle?

Maybe it's nothing but every time I'm off a cycle, I notice I pull muscles alot more easily. My biceps and quads are mainly the problem here. But i also hurt my pec pretty bad trying to get ready for a bench meet. It turned black and blue and I had a knot by the arm pit,
Anyway, has anyone else noticed the difference when you're "off"?
 
If your pec turned black and blue and you have a knot, you tore a part of your pec. That "knot" was the muscle that tore sitting there with no where to go.
I have the same thing on my left side... gets worse when I'm off and try to lift really heavy!

Yeah, I figured i might of tore it a little. I'm not benching heavy now, just light weight for reps to try and stretch it.
 
Don't lift as heavy, go about 80% of when you were on. Just bring a high intensity, but if you try and go as heavy when on, 80% of the time you will get hurt.
