muscle milk for breakfast?

looking for a protein shake to start my day. im not cooking at 6am i tried and it just doesnt' work out. is muscle milk the best choice since its casein ?
 
with a full glass of milk i think it's around 600 calories. so it might not be that bad. the casein definitly helps delay protein absorbtion.

lol im not a morning person, i have tried to get up every morning and make breakfast but im just not consisten enough. a shake would be much easier for me

Open Tuna Can, throw in Mayo / Cheese and heat in microwave for a minute.

What's easier?
 
Tiger`s right. Having an oatmeal bowl is easy. I just add water and don`t even cook it. I add Splenda though. It goes down in literally 30 to 60 seconds. You could drink it and it would go faster. lol Of course this is in addition to the protein shake. I would just get a customised protein mix from Protein factory or similar. I`m sure you`re paying extra for the Muscle Milk doing it for you.

I hate eating in the morning as well, that`s why I do the oatmeal, and If I`m desperate, I`ll drink a shake... It goes down easy, better than no breakfast.
 
i'm a big fan of oatmeal in my protein shake. I have a 40oz platic bottle that I fill with a cup of oats, milk, and 100 protein gms. I sip on this for breakfast
 
im afriad of oatmeal. plus i heard muscle milk tastes really good. i guess i could go protein factory but i dont know what to get?
 
actually whats better that or the breakfast formula from protein factory. if i go with breakfast itsw about 8 dollars a lb. also what kind of sweetner should i get. the one from protein factory has a really nice mix it seems. check it out for me someone!
 
I have the muscle milk banana creme- Good tasting but gettin expensive- Not many servings for the money- Think I may do the tuna mayo cheese as above

sounds chunky. do you blend it?
 
You probably want a faster absorbing protein in the morning........ Save the muscle milk for night or mid day when you go through longer stretches of not eating. I usually eat real food in the mornings but if for some reason i can't stomach it a good alternative is... 2 scoops whey, 1 cup oats, 1 tablespoon of natty PB. If you get a really good tasting protein like IDS whey isolate (vanilla cinnamon is amazing), it tastes like heaven even with water.

Your body is in an extremely catabolic state in the mornings and needs both carbs and protein as soon as possible.

I blend it......it's not chunky, it's actually smooth but sometimes at the bottom the unblended part settles and you just have to down it all at once. I find that typically if you blend it for long periods of time you can avoid it but it's not 100%.

true true...I do something similiar to your shake when bulking (like now)

2-3 scoops whey, 2 tblspoons anpb, 2 cups carb countdown milk, 1 banana,
1-2 cups oats, blend for a few minutes...

it's delish
