You probably want a faster absorbing protein in the morning........ Save the muscle milk for night or mid day when you go through longer stretches of not eating. I usually eat real food in the mornings but if for some reason i can't stomach it a good alternative is... 2 scoops whey, 1 cup oats, 1 tablespoon of natty PB. If you get a really good tasting protein like IDS whey isolate (vanilla cinnamon is amazing), it tastes like heaven even with water.
Your body is in an extremely catabolic state in the mornings and needs both carbs and protein as soon as possible.
