Multivitamins for a 16 year old kid.

My nephew is 16 year old and he plays professional soccer.I got him some multivitamins and Vitc and I read on the labels that kids under 16 should not take them. Would be detrimental for him to use multivitamins?

If yes, why?

screw that!!! JUICE HIM!!! naw i'm kidding. its alright for him to take those.. i have no clue why they would say you can't under 16.. prolly some other stupid FDA thing.
