I beleive China want's to get there paws in with them as well. It would be pretty stupid to interfere with the US and for that matter the better part of the world.
Iran is a touchy situation. They have supported terrorism in the past. Over 50% of their population is under 25. The young people want change. Their President is a reformer (by Iran standards) and got alomst 80% of the vote in re-election.
The hard-line leaders control everything: the courts, military, press etc. and almost blocked the President's inauguration. They need to be forced out, without making the next generation hate the US.

Remember... Iran and Iraq were at war for like 7 years if Im not mistaken.... Im sure they would like to had Saddam his ass...
We admittedly need to work on improving our relations with many countries of the world. However with Afganistan, we helped when the Russians were invading their country, we helped them and this is how they pay us back? I am all for taking out the the Taliban, and all of their supporter's. Please remember that the Pakstani's have the only ARAB NATION ATOMIC BOMB MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN THE ARAB WORLD. THEY HAVE TESTED ATOMIC WEAPONS SEVERAL TIMES NOW, AND HAVE MORE OF THEM, AND ARE MAKING EVEN MORE EVEN NOW. These weapons have undoubtly been shipped over their borders and in the hands of their insane TERRORIST FRIENDS.
This doesn't bode well for the future. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND, OUR GOVERNMENT IS WELL AWARE OF THIS. SEPTEMBER 6TH A BIG REPORT WAS RELEASED AND THE MEDIA NEVER REPORTED IT. WHAT THE NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY REPORTED WAS A FACTUAL REPORT OF OUR RISKS. THE MEDIA JUST GLOSSED OVER THIS REPORT. The Hart-Rudman report was infact the truth.
I guess Chandra Levy just made better press. Scandle always does. National security does not make good press. Duhhh????
