Ok, im about to start a dit down phase now. and i want you to tell me what you think about my diet....this is what ive been eating as a bulk up diet:

Diet:

Meal 1:
90g oatmeal
2dl orangejuice
3dl milk
20g protein powder
6 eggwhites
2 yolks

Meal 2:
40g protein powder
5dl milk
60g Oat Bran

Meal 3:
4dl orange juice
90g rice
150g steak
+ vegetables

Meal 4:
40g protein powder
5dl milk
1 banana

Meal 5:
1 can of tuna
2 slices of bread

Meal 6:
4dl orange juice
90g rice
150g steak
+ vegetables

Meal 7:
40g protein powder
5dl milk
1 banana

Meal 8:
6 eggwhites
2 yolks
+ peanutbutter


Proteins: 390,80g
Carbohydrates: 532,36g
Fat: 115,65g
Calories: 4788,12


From this diet i have worked out my phase one of my diet down diet. where i reduced 15-20 of the calories from carbs. and tapered the carb intake as the day progressed. i am gonna start this diet tomorrow..and start cardio on monday..start out with 3 days, 30 minutes of cardio..and increase it up untill i do 45min 5-6 days a week. then i will drop another 10% of the calories from the carbs..my first phase diet looks like this :

Diet:

Meal 1:
45g oatmeal
2dl orangejuice

Meal 2:
40g protein powder
5dl milk
60g Oat Bran

Meal 3:
70g rice
150g steak
+ vegetables

Meal 4:
40g protein powder
5dl milk
30g oatmeal

Meal 5:
1 can of tuna
60g rice

Meal 6:
40g rice
150g steak
+ vegetables

Meal 7:
40g protein powder
5dl milk
30g oatmeal

Meal 8:
6 eggwhites
2 yolks

Proteins: 376,76
Carbohydrates: 390,49
Fat: 93,05
Calories: 4149,72



I might add some more proteins. just add some more protien powder, and an eggwhite here and there. so what do you think?
 
How the hell you gonna lose weight on 4149 cals and almost 400gms of carbs? do you have a fast metabolism?

NY Muscle: yeah i do have a fast metabolisme..this picture is last year..after a light "diet down" with around 500 carbs a day

Damn id be a fat fuck on 500gms of carbs

youd be SHREDDED if you took your carbs down to 150gms a day like I am now.
 
Sounds pretty good for the first phase.

I'd throw some pussy in there somewhere though and move your meal total up to nine a day.

Some questions:

Why are you phasing this? Why not just start with the real thing?

Why are you drinking oj on a cutting diet? It's practically pure sugar. And two bananas?

What kind of milk are you drinking? Unless it's skim or 1%, it looks high, IMO.

You're also gonna get sick of oat products real quick. I'd mix that carb source up with some brown rice and multi-grain bread.

Also, I think you've already got too much mrp in there. I don't go over 100gr ever in a day. I think you should replace some of that with some lean meats, chicken or turkey.

there are no bananas in the diet down diet..thats in the bulk diet.

phasing is good for holding on to a maximum amount of muscle. shocking the body with sudden HIGH carb drops are bound to make you loose more musclemass.

i have a glass of oj in the morning..lke i said, its phase 1 of the cutting diet. next cut the oj goes.

i love oats so no problem..try going 12 weeks only eating fish and broccoli..that will test ya.

3 proteins shakes out of 8 meals are good. my body wouldnt be able to digest 6 food meals. so thats why i have 3 shakes.

the milk is extra skin 0,7% fat
 
phase one i reduction og calories from carbs. 10-20% reduction

phase two is adding cardio. 3 x 30 mintes a week to begin with..then increase untill i have 5-6 days with 45 minutes.

phase three is reducing the calories from carbs by another 10%

there is no set time for each phase..when you feel one phase isnt doing anything more, then you go to the next.
 
Sorry to interrupt the smooching :)

I have been dieting now for about 4 weeks, just following Animalbolics, and training westside. I have lost a good amount of fat, and kept ALL my muscle. Next week, I plan on adding 2 to 3 20-30 minute cardio/GPP sessions to further fat loss. So, in essence, I am following your concept of "phased" fat loss. I have used this approach before, and I have used the instant hardcore diet, and I like this alot more. It may take a few weeks longer, but I think you keep alot more muscle, and feel alot better. Stay strong brother, good luck.
