OK, what would you say if I told that this is the one? I still have my eyes on Les Pauls but American Deluxe Stratocaster QMT HSS would be a nice one too. :p

Ugh, no offense, but those silverburst Les Pauls look hideous to me. There are only three colors that look good on a Les Paul Standard - gold, cherry sunburst, and cherry red. On a Les Paul Custom, only Black is acceptable.

The silverburst tends to turn green with age, which isn't pretty.

That Strat gets a solid "meh..." from me. Dunno if it's the color, the humbucker pickup, or the absence of a pickguard.

This is what a proper Stratocaster looks like:

I like the color. I had blue Les Paul Studio 15 years ago and I loved it. Then I sold it, and after kicked myself in the ass.

Lestat, I would take it also.

I love the 78-81 Silverburst... metallic paint was use that affected the tone.. great for heavy Metal.

I like the look...

I'm not in to red guitars at all.

wow very exciting pictures. I have a skyblue Yamaha. I know its not the prettiest out there, but its my first and I love its sound.

Thing is, it comes on the Les Paul Custom, which is kind of a dog compared to the Standard. Most Customs feel like a dead plank.
