It is coming along, the sciatic pain still comes and goes but i have been lifting for the last 2 and a half weeks so far. Not going heavy yet. My arms are blowing back up already which is nice. I only went up to 60 pounders on dumbell press so far until i heal a little more.
 
My disc herniated and the part that squished out pushed up against the nerve in my leg. The pain was extreme. Basically your disc is kind of like a jelly donut. Harder on the outside, softer in the middle. If it get smushed the inside will protrude out and push against whatever, in my case it was my nerve. It will never heal on its own, all they can do is trim off the piece that pushes out and hope it does not squish out anymore.

Body building really is a dumb sport. You are pushing your body to its limits. Have fun doing dead lifts and heavy squats! I think the hip sled really fucks you up too. None of that shit for me anymore. I am finding other ways to work my legs. I will never have legs like Dorian, but atleast i wont be crippled. Lots of leg extensions, leg curls, and calf work. Going to be riding my bike a lot too.
