Anyone know who makes MP3 Players that you can strap to your arm. I want one to take to the gym when i'm working out so all the idiots don't bother me.

Sweet, I just don't know if i'm prepared to spend that much dough on and MP3 player right now.

375 songs ? now that's fucking overtraining. I paid like $50 for a Creative Nomad 32MB (yeh I know that's like 10 songs but I'm hardcore he he).

yeah, I saved up, aint no way Im gettin a cheapy that holds 30 times less music for only 40 bucks less

there are a few that are decent that you wear around your neck, be carefull of the memory though, some are 64mb, some are 128mb,and some are 256mb, the 64mb prolly holds 8 songs at most, 128 prolly 16, and the 256 prolly around 30, for me, even at 256, that is no where near enough for me,

hears a good link with different reviews and ratings, it helped me out a lot

but I use it in my car, at home, at the gym, plus I can have new music on it and not have to update it every time I want to hear different music, I would get sick of the same 8-10 songs each time

you have a 32mb and it holds 10 songs? wow, most only hold a couple at that memory

Nice after you said all that $170 doesn't seem that bad. I might have to go head first into this one. Everyone keep em coming.

Yeah E-bay is always a possibility. I'm searching for them on Amazon.com now to see what they've got. I might have to hit up walmart as I work for them at a distribution center and I get a 10% discount. Yeah I know its not much but hell its better than nothing.

PoyBoy, is that a rechargeable battery? Does it come with a charger?

actually it has an internal battery, and the life is 16 FUCKING HOURS, thats the most in its class, it also comes with a charger, I bought this one after extensive reviewing, I mean read the feed back on zdnet reviews, it was voted a best buy, plus when it came out in sept it was around $299, so at this price its a steal, even best buy sells it for around $220

i got a rca K@zoo like 30 bucks I LOVE THAT MOTHERUCKER SO SMALL SO NICE SO CHEAP SO KICK ASS :)

had it for a year and still works awsome after being dropped and sitting in 100 degree car heat

if you go with that one make sure to get the one with the most memory

It looks like comes with a 128mb card so that would suit my needs at the gym. I can listen to the same cd in my car for weeks so it would work out fine.

The FM radio is nice and also the SD card expansion slot to expand the 256Mg internal memory with another 256M card.
Soon the flash OS is to be upgraded that you can download to allow any size SD card, instead of the current 512M limit

I have a thing with internal rechargeable batteries as some have a lifespan of recharges and cannot be replaced.(IPOD)

This one takes 1 AAA battery and they last me about 8-12 hours
I bought NIMHydride rechargable AAA's..

Also Comes with a Media Player plugin so I can move stuff in/out right from my playlists in Media Player..
Or you can use realaudio or their console...

i got the nike phillips ones that straps to ur arm, the way the headphones are set up though is a pain in the ass, other than that its great. Holds 128mb, paid 130 bucks for it

Outta my price range now that I look at it. Oh well.

i got a creative muvo rip off, 128 meg for 80 bucks australian (50 odd US dollars), you can get armbands for them for another 10 bucks or so

its light, and uses aaa batteries

poyeboys link looks excellent for that price though, its got me thinking..

If you're planning to wear it to the gym you should get a belt clip model, not an arm band one. Most upper body exercises use the arms, and the player and cord can really get in the way.

Also, low memory players arn't that bad. I have a 64MB player, and I can get about 12 good quality songs on there (or 17 low quality songs). I only use it for the gym and if I go roller blading, jogging, etc...nothing that lasts over an hour anyway. The low memory ones are pretty cheap now too.
