Moving to Spain

Hello all. I am new to this board but was a regular in 'the scene' about 5 years ago.

I have recently lost my job and am considering ditching the US for a bit and moving to europe, likely spain, italy or portugal. I choose these because I am familiar with spanish and romance languages.

My wife is a european so working legally won't be so problematic, I am applying for dual citizenship.

I just want to hear from some bros who may be in europe about what its like to live there. Specifically what are laws concerining steroids there now (esp the south countries mentioned, but I can always travel), how difficult to acquire etc.

Not looking to move for several months while I wait for my EU passport and try to make contacts, but any information would be mucho appreciated.

roids aren't really legal in any of the countries you mentioned. you can probably get *some* in Spain (you at least could a few years ago) and maybe in portugal as well but it's not like mexico where you can get anything you want. you'd still have to rely on underground/gym sources to get the good stuff.

i'd definitely go for italy. much nicer people and just a cooler culture than spain or portugal IMHO. if you're really thinking portugal, prepare yourself. it's not the most modern country, that's for sure...

if you want to move to a country where you can get more stuff legally, your best bet is turkey (not part of the EU) or greece (although it's the same story as spain, there's less and less of it over the counter) or some of the old eastern european countries. not the most comfortable places to live though...

I'm sure you can find some sources somewhere like Italy without any major problems though. Just go to the hard core gyms (same as in the us really)...
