moved to germany, lost everything

well guys heres my story

im 23 years old and ive been working out for about 3 years. i thought i had a really good foundation built.. i wasnt too concerned with diet because i was blessed with a great metabolism, and as such ive always been skinny. currently im 6'1 and 166lbs(more on that later), before work sent me to germany i was 180lbs after lots of hard work. well when i got here i knew the abc's the 123's and to be at work at 6am. i had to leave behind my fiance(who is sticking with me through is all) family, friends, and basicly everything familiar(military guys know what im talking about). so i dropped 20 pounds very rapidly and those 3 years went right out the window. i recently flew my fiance over for a trip to paris and ibiza(absolutly beautiful), but when she saw me for the first time she freaked out(not in a good way) she said i looked anorexic and sick.

now its to the point where the immersion has kicked in and i have joined a gym and know where the grocery store is where the tuna and milk and eggs are located haha. ive been eating as much as i can and trying to fix good meals for my breaks at work. i have gained back 6 pounds pretty quickly but my strength just isnt there. now i know what you are all thinking, oh hes lost it all and thinks steroids will make it all better.. this isnt the case, i was working twards a certain goal (the men health look) and i was still probly a year away from achaiving it.. now im a good 5 years away probably(my genetics arent those where i can put on muscle easily) i did have the hard work put in and was shoved into this situation.

maybe im looking for a "you dont need steroids" reply .. who knows

but i want to get to 190 pounds before i am able to move back to the States in March (too little time to gain that much weight to be safe?) and i know even the greatest diet and weight training program wont help me that much

just looking for some ideas

thanks a bunch for taking the time to read my story bros

Yeah what sweed said. He's a good bro.

I liked your other avatar better BTW!!! :Chef: :tuc:

sweeds right bro, hit the gym hard and keep the calories high and you'll start putting the weight back on in no time.

I feel your pain though. If my girl ever said I looked anorexic, I'd walk straight to the closet and start filling up syringes. Guess I'm a little sensitive about that though.

haha.. ya when i was dieting for my show last year... my mom goes, i love you skinny... i was like... what!!!! i told her to call me "lean, not skinny"
skinny = fill up syringes lol

I think we all freak out when someone says we look skinny. Anyway with your metabolism you should be downing cals like no other. I would eat a jar of natural peanut butter a day on top of your regular 6-8 meals, with one meal in the middle of the night. After a few months if it doesn't work, then you can consider jumping on a cycle.

im in my 3rd month back from training and im back to old numbers, but im 50 lbs less in bodyweight :) I love muscle memory!

Good advice... but i'd just add: work up to it... add in an extra meal and shake every week till you get to where you want to be... trying to cram that all in tomorrow isn't good feel too good and you may end up putting on way too much fat... and the muscle memory part is true, you'll be up to 180 pretty quick.
