Most painful injection help!!!

Hey everyone so I just started my 5th week of test e and this morning I injected 250mg in my right gluteus. My past injections were painless, but today it was a bitch. I couldn't even stick the needle all the way in the first attempts, it hurt so bad. Felt like I kept hitting a vein. I aspirated, blood came out so I picked a new spot. Still hurt like a bitch but I just got it over with. I warmed up it before too and took all cleaning precautions. Any ideas why it might be stinging more than usual? Felt like no matter where I stuck it, It was gonna hurt like hell

The pin might have gotten dulled on your first approach, making the second difficult. What length and size are you using on the glutes? You also may have strayed from the best injection site, or gone an angle that hit a nerve.

Thanks man I think your right about the dullness making it more painful, because I tried multiple times sticking it. It's 1 1/2 btw

Yea, sometimes it hurts. Live and learn. I trust you draw with a different pin than the injection pin? I go with 18g draw, 27 inject.

Did you let the alcohal dry? After you swab your glute give it a few to let the alcohal dry otherwise the needle will push the alcohal into the skin layers and it will burn bad.
