sure, sure - I'll bet a few of you clicked on this thread in hopes that it was about another board member.
but nope, just relaying a story that just happened here at my desk. the moron in this case would be myself.
I just finished up a base test suite of software that allows neural net design and implementation. I was very pleased with myself for getting in done in two days and was pumping my head full of air and looking around my desk when I spotted my keychain.
on my keychain are a few different things, mainly keys, some "doo-dads" (an official term), and then this little light thing.
I spotted the light and was like... hmm, wonder if that thing is still working (I don't use it much). so I picked it up, pointed at my eyes, and pressed the button. apparently it was bright because I couldn't see for about 5 mins.
I was just sitting here, staring blankly at my screen - which isn't all that different than a normal day, except that I actually wasn't seeing anything other than dancing colors and a throbbing white and black shape pulsing over my retina and thereby field of view.
I can see again now, but am reminded that I'm a moron.
