Morning misery

A while back when I was a drug adict I had no trouble getting up in the am.....Now I get at least 8 solid hours of sleep, I dont so much as touch even a beer at night and I feel like I am waking from a night of 500 drinks....WTF is wrong with me. You think its just because I am getting old? I am such a morning person I dont want to end up being a miserable shit like everyone else when they get up.

i am (in)famous at work for my quote "anything before 10 am is still last night".


i work the 4 to midnight shift 98% of the time nowadays.
 
25 here and feel the same way. if i sleep too long i'm a lazy piece of shit. i'm thinking 6-7 hrs of sleep is the most i can get.

you were a drug addict?
 
I was a general substance abuse addict.....I would do anything that was there from alcohol to dope.....i never shot any drugs intraveneously and I have never puposely smoked crack (I have had people put it in blunts etc..and it makes me VERY ill) But I was mainly a coke, alcohol, pill(xanax oxy perks etc), and marijuana addict. alcohol was the toughest to beat to be honest.

Heh same for me. Alcohol was by far the most destructive substance I have ever done with my list being the same as yours but without the addiction part. Alcohol was the only substance that really took a hold of us
Just recently quit cigs and weed also so I'm totally drug free for the first time in years. Kinda sucks but I can already feel the difference in my endurance.

Anyways, regarding your question. What's your schedule like? Are you burning yourself out? Depression maybe?
 
I work lots yes but I make my own hours for the most part. I have free reign to do as I please....I work for two companies as well as myself. yesterday and today have been the slowest days I have had in months, low stress good sleep and I still feel like shit. My diet is pretty good...I train like once a week if even these days...maybe thats it.
