More snow

I hear that! All I have been doing for the past 3 days is shoveling. I am running out of room down the driveway. It just stopped here like an hour ago, but it is supposed to start up again tonight.

It`s not snowing in here.

Oh wait, I`m inside my house, I have to look out the window.

Shit!

i HATE the snow. doesn't get me off work, cause, well, i don't work :D but the past 2 days we've been running on a condensed schedule at school and i'd rather get my full classes. hell, i'm the one paying for it, i want the most out of it!

I love the title of the thread just before this one...something about surfing in San Jose. Perfect. Fan-fucking-tastic while I'm up here in Canada freezing my sack off. Great.

the snow's lovely... all soft and powdery... like a postcard Christmas
i live in a condo and walk to work, no driving, no shovelling... LOVE IT :)

I hate the snow due to the fact my car is rear wheel drive, and with the ice i cant go to the gym at all. Also, i have to go to work at least some to take care clients and finish up work that there always is to get done, never a break. If that isnt enough graduate classes start tomorrow at University of Maryland for me with about year left to go, and they NEVER cancel class...lol.

I wouldn't mind maybe a weekend of snow.

what are you driving? i managed the winter of 96 in PA with a 78 Impala (that was a HORRIBLE winter). car did pretty damn good on snow, as long as you were going in a straight line no faster than 20mph. any faster and you'd risk losing it. and turns....that 2 1/2 ton beast liked to slide.

2 winters ago we had a 91 Chevy Astro that didn't do too bad in the snow and the ice. another 2 1/2 ton beast. my girlfriend handled it pretty good actually, and it wasn't the AWD model, regular RWD. it was that winter that she finally learned how to "engine brake," something i had been trying to teach her for 2 years (ya know, instead of the typical woman "floor it then slam the brakes at the last second" style of driving :D )

i've got a 96 Civic (good in up to about 6" of snow) and a 91 4x4 S10 Blazer, but the damn 4wd is screwy and only works half the damn time. i know what's wrong with it, but with no garage and the freezing temps, it's just too damn cold to fix it

but even with the lack of 4wd half the time, the Blazer still does pretty decent in the snow. and 4wd donuts kick ass :D

That's too much for me. It's been snowing here since Sunday afternoon. We did have a period of rain/freezing rain mixed in. Man, I hat this shit.
