mixing water and oil based

It's fine. The only problems I can find with mixing water and oil is that sometimes it's hard to get all the air bubbles out.
Another thing to consider is that some of the particles in the suspension will suspend in the oil depot thus changing the release time of the hormone. Not that big of a deal though I guess.

It can be done, but I personally think it's a bad idea...just my opinion though

No real problem. Still, the oil/water combo changes needle dynamics a lot.
You'll have to find a smaller gauge that can easily accomodate the oil. Otherwise, you'll never be able to draw.
Finally, in the case of Winny, I would recommend that you drink it. Or, are you doing some other type of water-based roid?
