LOL...sure...I'll model it in Inventor...STEP it out and you'll be all set.

What other software do you have experience in?

I bet you're pretty bad-ass with Legos huh?

i once bought a model airplane and never opened it.. still have it after 8 years in its wrapper!

So you are an engineer? There doesn't seem to be many of us around here.

LOL

NO NO NO I'm not an engineer... dude that was an insult.... hee hee J/k

I work with two of them though and I am give responsibilities as If I were one sometimes. My boss trust me so I am able to do a few projects alone (the simple ones)

I work in both solidworks and Autocad, those are the only two we have here.

sure will

Here is one project I did In this software.... pretty sweet program just a bitch sometimes.. and my boss thinks I can do some crazy shit most of the time, makes my life frustrating.

here's another project that seemed to take forever because each part was individually modeled... and then all assmebled. This one was fun though

the mill and lathe gave it away to me. i am pretty big into them, mostly the crawler scene now. i have a couple of rigs. a clod, a solid axle maxx, tlt, and working on a txt. then the rc10 etc..

you ever visit rcrockcrawler.com?

they ast least give you specs?

I have a 2-d drawing and the actual engine to go by. The drawing sucks because most of the lines are cut (for the view and piece i am trying to model... the engine block is done)

Doesn't have to be perfect but has to be presentable and a good representation of the actual block for presentations and brochures.

that actually seems pretty tough. a5t least they gave you a little room because if it had to function in 3d that would take a good while.

Its frustrating for me because I can't stand to do things half ass... I like hands on, so i rather work off the engine block. a 2d drawing only tells so much.

i run in and out of the shop taking measurments.. LOL.

For most of the smaller parts I model I just bring them in my office and work from there, not this baby ;)
