I'm gonna say something, and it's gonna seem truly horrible and it's not meant to be that way. It's just that this is such a truly dreadful example of a really fucking STUPID, STUPID accident that it just ran though my head:

Is the Metro-Link the train that runs down the coastline through San Clemente or is that something else? If it is, that train scared the crap out of me today and I was not that close to the tracks. It does come out of nowhere.

You should try being one of the guys inside the Engine. I work for the rail road, I see it a lot, everyday we get at least 5-10 feet from hiting retards that don't ever look or care.

Hell, I hit a girl in her car the first week on the job, dumb shit was on her phone. Nevermind the lights and bells going off. There was even strobe lights at this particular intersection. She's lucky we were only going 8-10 MPH. It just spun her car sideways

I'm not so sure. I don't think she was walking the track, she was struck by a snow plow that extended the width of the engine.
