Midnight snacking....

I've gotten really fat and it's time for me to trim down again, but it's gotten to the point where I've been eating so much, so often, that if I go for more than a few hours without eating I get extremely hungry....

Yesterday was my first day that I started watching what I eat again, and just now (middle of the night) I found myself awake, standing at the fridge, eating my weight in yogurt before I was conscious of what I was doing.

The hunger has been strong enough to wake me up as of late. What can I do about it?

And if I do have to eat in the middle of the night, what is the best thing? (keeping in mind that I'll be going straight back to sleep)

Scramble some egg whites... add some fat-free cheese and a VERY small amount of salsa. Filling and tasty.
 
If I wake up hungry, I usually roll up a couple of slices of deli turkey. If you are donig keto, you could dip that in some mayo or roll it with some swiss cheese. I am doing portion control/calorie counting, so I just go with the turkey.

Yeah, if you go into the kitchen to fix eggs, you might grab something else. I'm with frankenfurter on this, too. I change my mind.
