What are the prerequisites of becoming a guest at Neverland?

I think the best part of that interview was him saying that he wants to adopt 2 children from every continent in the world. Oh yeah and him saying 'Blanket,' the all white baby, had a black mother!

Well this is a first. I agree with Kayne. Most geniuses are eccentric; he's no exception. He's also vulgar rich and people love to hate people like that, plus he's an easy target.

I also don't think he "abused" anyone. However, I do think he acts inappropriately around children. Whether he lays a hand on them or not, kids should not sleep in the same bed with grown men, period. The real troubling thing about him, IMO, is why he doesn't seem to understand that.

Exactly- and anyone who doesn't understand that it isn't weird he says is "ignorant". I find it to be very disturbing on multiple levels- especially the fact that he will be molding and caring for other human life.

Good God- i shudder to think what those kids will turn out like.

Yea... I watched part of the interview tonight w/ my gf and I think that British dude was being kind of a dick. I also think it is pretty messed up that he sleeps with kids but I think he is just overcompensating for his childhood when he got the fuck beat out of him by Tito. People just need to lay off cuz he seems like a nice guy. Why can't we get people like this to interview Martha Stewart? Now that would be good :)

I don't think Michael ever touched any of those kids. He seems like he is just lost in the mind, and honestly just wants to help kids because he understands them. I feel bad for him.

You have no physical evidence against jackson, only testimony that could have been contrived from the boy by his parents. So that document and toilet paper will get you through about a day of ass whiping.

And as for the lawsuit, Jackson can take a crap and earn $20 million. It's nothing to him. I can totally understand him settling. He'd have been absolutely no better off going through a long, drawn out, media circus trial, even if he had won. The real damage came when the accusation was made public. From that point, it didn't matter how he handled it.

exactly, I feel sorry for that guy. His growing up was very difficult, and I don't think he handled it very well. so to overcompensate for his terrible childhood he now tries to remain like peter pan as he said in his own words.

I DO think he makes some very bad decisions, like dangling his kid over the balcony or taking his kids to the zoo where it was complete pandimonium. Somehow I don't think he's the most intelligent chap in the world.
 
I really don't understand why people are on such a crusade to crucify Michael. The man worked his ass off from the age of 5 to attain such wealth and divine stardom. Yet people belittle him for having facelifts, fucking Lamas, Monkeys and an amusement park in his backyard? What the fuck? WHO FUCKING CARES!!!! The dude has the money to do it!!! while I agree with your message, I disagree with this point. men are morely likely to molest children or commit those kinds of acts than women are. I really don't think it's very appropriate to do that, even though he does probably have good intentions. He needs to hire an assistant that has common sense to tell MJ what to do.

I bet I can venture a pretty good guess. Micheal Jackson is super-rich, super-famous, and super-weird. A recipe for people, especially Americans, to love to hate. We are narcissistic and materialistic by culture, and we like nothing better than to see people like that fall.

Rich and/or famous eccentrics can also be beloved, so long as they remain cute and charming and don't do anything too over the top. For the minute they do, they will be crucified, because that's all the justification we need. The mere suggestion of impropriety is more than enough to put someone's head on a stake and to completely nullify their past achievements.

Interesting point. Wasn't there a part in the documentary where they were showing MJ dangle his baby over the balcony....every person in his "staff", "entourage", whatever, was totally shocked, but not one of them would dare say anything.

Now, before we cast them all as spineless lackies, would you risk your job criticizing the boss? Especially one that would fire you in a heartbeat?

Jacko preys on the young ones, knowing that his money and word will likely be believed over a adolescent. Joking about the semen, but given the way he acts, lives his life, I don't see it being far fetched at all. Again, until he is caught with a kid's dick in his mouth, we will never know for sure, but I lean towards it being believeable.

Possible I suppose. But consider this. You are lower income. Your child is chosen by arguably the greatest pop-star of all time to come spend time with him in his little fantasy land. You allow little Johnny to spend the night, having met the pop star and being comfortable enough to allow this to happen. Plus there are places for parents to stay in the park or ranch or whatever.

You also know the following:

1. There are few with deeper pockets than Micheal Jackson
2. His persona over the years has gotten weirder and weirder, including suggestions of imporpriety involving children.
3. The mere accusation would deal a huge blow to Jackson's already tarnished image.
4. The LAST thing he needs is a drawn out child abuse trial, and he can more than afford to make it not happen.

Now, given all this, is it so inconceivable in our litigious society that little Johnny was lying on behalf of his parents? I mean, what does he have to lose? Nothing. He remains anonymous. Even if he can't prove anything happened, no one can prove it didn't so he risks nothing.

Is it so inconceivable that the one kid to formally accuse Jackson of molestation is actually lying? I think there's room for arguement there, at the very least.
 
Gymtime, you make a good argument, and I can certainly see your points. My take is a poor family would have settled for $1 million, $3 million, or maybe even $5 million if "nothing really happened". How good of a lawyer could they have retained with little or no evidence? Maybe they have a Monical Lewinskyesque pair of pajama bottoms?? Who knows, but $20 million - that is a shitload of money. I know Jacko was probably worth $500 million or more at some point, but still $20 million buys alot monkeys and gorillas for his personal zoo. You know Jacko has damn good laywers himself - just seems like an inordinate amount if it was all bullshit or the part of the kid.
