Methanol Question...(In Syno convert)????

Did a search, could not find the answer I was looking for... Being as "methanol" ("heet"/methyl alcohol) is used in the Syno experiment, what about the potential risk factors that methanol use in humans cause? Toxic to system/blindness?...I am just trying to uderstand this more, as this shit is making me a bit nervous I have to admitt. I am planning on doing a Syno convert soon, and trust the guys all know what they are doing w/ kits, and my trust is with them, I just would like to understand this process more. Pertaining of how you will be ok after use w/Syno kit sep with methanol. I know it evaporates, but would there be traces? If so,...do we take any in? Basically, all you gurus, please explain/put my mind at ease please,... to me that the process with it's use (methanol) is not dangerous when converted with Syno kits.


Any risk factors? Can you screw up w/ kit convert? Dangerous at all? Anybody have, screwed up before? Gurus, and others who have used, please post feedback... ty.

You want to make the methanol completely evaporate. Do this by heating it up to above its boiling point (about 65 C), and apply vacuum. Without the vacuum the methanol will stay in, even at temperatures far above 65 C. Use a fridge pump or a water aspirator pump for the vacuum. Good luck!
