metformin or topamax

while i'm on the subject, what about combining metformin with a low GI diet? would the 2 compliment each other in any effective fashion?

are you looking to utilize metformin for glucose disposal?! i don't see how it may be beneficial in weight loss otherwise. if so why not r-ala, although metformin is much less expensive it comes with a pack of side-effects...

bump for ya..

im just brainstorming to see if combining metformin with a low GI diet will result in lower appetite due to lowered insulin levels.

I've heard very mixed reviews on metformin. Some love it and swear by it, and others find it to be worthless and heavy on side-effects. If you don't have problems with loss of appetite or digestive system irriatoin from it, it could prove VERY usefull in a bulking cycle, but many who have tried this complain of one or both of those problems. Either can spell disaster in lbm gains. So take that for what its worth. Give it a try if you want, and see if it works for you. In my experience there are 2 people who have tried it who didn't get the results they were looking for, for every one who it worked for.

nordy go with the ALA.....i;d prefer it given the alternatives side effects. plus ALA is an OTC supp....maybe worth bearing in mind if your career involves medical legality
