Have a resting metabolic rate test done. See www.baselinefitness.com. They offer them in the central Ohio area. Their website explains them. You can also have them done at most medical teaching universities with metabolic labs. You compare your results with the norms, then you'll know.

You could also walk into a Bally's - they do a metab test (called Body Gem) & it's for everyone; members or non members. It's $39.95...
