I am a member of another site, a fan club for the band Tool.
They use a sequence of images to represent your "karma" level. You can add or take away from people's karma and it makes this imagine morph into a more enlightened state or a diseased looking state.
The basic theme is opening your third eye. What is your third eye? it is a metaphor for expanding your consciousness and way of thinking. It is not religious and certainly not Christian. If anything, opening your 3rd eye means to step outside what the established authorities have told you is truth.
To quote Tim Leary:

No. many of my friends have quit high school to work in the farms with the armies. they think they make more money than going to a universidad but they also fear for lives of their own.
i dont comprehand why cocaine is so special.

I don't understand why cocaine is so popular either. I would guess it is so popular there because people HERE spend so much money on it.pabloamiera said:

My friends and I hav discussed this before because the US pop culture always shows cocaine as a fun drug or something of vanity.
but when somebody is born and has many years with the farms and cocaine around them it became a problem like it was nothing special. like bothersome. Not many people use those drug here but are more concerned with selling and make money with exporting.

You are right, people associate it with glamor here, fun times, women, money. It all goes hand in hand with coke. Seems silly to me. The come down from coke sucks, and the high lasts 30 minutes if you are lucky then you have to do more!
