MEDITERREAN HISTORY 101, FOR THOSE UNEDUCATED EF MEMBERS
I'm talking about that thread in the Chat Forum yesterday where multiple EF members described my fellow Italians as having "n**** blood". Now I'm not trying to be rascist myself---for then I would be a hypocrite---but Italians are fiercely protective of being Italian. Having mixed blood, whether it be black, arab, French, German, Irish, etc., is looked down upon by my fellow Italians as making that particular Italian a mongrel, or a "wonder bread wop". Yes, the Moors did conquer Sicily, but ONLY SICILY. Sicily was a seperate kingdom (Kingdom of Sicily) until 1870, when Sicily was unified with mainland Italy by King Victor Emmanuel I, after nationalistic Italians, led by Gusieppe Garibaldi, drove out the French and Austrian occupiers of Italy.
So until 1870, Sicily WASN'T EVEN PART OF ITALY!!!! And well before that time, had only been joined with Italy during the times of the Roman Republic/Empire. Additionally, Sicily is considered to be the most conquered land on Earth. It was conquered by the Visigoths (white people), Lumbards (white people), Greeks (white people), mainland Italians, as well as Moors. And for those uneducated fools, Moors are not black, THEY ARE ARABS, deriving from the Berber tribes of North Africa. Furthermore, Moors/Berbers THEMSELVES are greatly insulted when referred to as being black.
In conclusion, Sicilians have French, Northern Italian, Greek, German, Arab, etc. blood in them. So to call them black in any way is ignorant. Also, mainland Italians (such as were my ancestors), make up virtually the entire Italian population, and MOORS NEVER CONQUERED, LET ALONE SET FOOT, on mainland Italy. So the statements made by numerous EF members that Italians have some black blood, OR EVEN MOORISH BLOOD, is completely false, rascist propaganda.
P.S.---I submitted this originally to the MOD WODIN through a PM, and he said it was okay to post it.
