Measuring my E2 levels

I have used several aromatase inhibitors from various sites I have found using this website. I have use arimidex and femara from a common supplier that recently closed its doors. I think the arimidex and femara I bought were either bogus or very under-dosed, because my estrogen remained significantly elevated after using a small dosage of test enanthate. I have been using pharmaceutical grade femara from a physican/friend and this has proven to be far more effective at keeping my E2 levels low/normal.
Question: Does anyone on this board test their estrogen levels to see if their aromatase inhibitors are working?

In a related question: Has anyone used indole-3-carbinol or DIM to lower estrogen?
These natural aromatase inhibitors seem to be gaining popularity, although the scientific studies seem to be lacking.
