I drink coconut oil. About 90% of coconut oil is saturated fat, of which about two-thirds are MCT's. I can definitely feel the surge from it. If you're looking for a natural source, it's the way to go. Just make sure that it's organic, extra-virgin, and cold-pressed. Don't get anything that's bleached and or deodorized.
The MCT's, unlike longer chain fatty acids, are easily absorbed in the intestine for quick energy. I really have not noticed any effect on body fat from coconut oil. I do, however, see adipose tissue gains when I have unnecessary carbs on top of it.
