McKinney Will Not Be Charged

Are you suggesting if it had been a white congressman and a black female police officer that there's a slim chance the outcome would have been different??? :)

Black or White Male or Female you do NOT hit a cop doing his or her duty.

The elitism of these politicians just pisses me off. Biggest bunch of hypocrits in the world and I bet she's really tough on AAS use too!

It's PC run amok. Our politicians in power are pussies, and the black/hispanic lobbying powerhouse is brutal. Blacks are a large voting bloc in this country.

Do you want to be the one guy who stands up and says 'she should go to jail' - only to be labelled a racist (it's a very popular term to throw out these days) and risk not being re-elected?

politicians are deathly afraid of the R word. Deathly.

Funny, most blacks i know, tired of going to jail themselves - want her to go to jail, for they see her as some rich, pompous bitch who should do time just like thye have. If they can't get breaks, neither should she.

The whole thing is a massive joke. The only thing I hope is that at the end of the day (read: election time) the voting GA public keeps in mind who of their representation is full of shit & who isn't (or who is less full of shit relatively speaking).

She is like Corrine Brown, her district is drawn to keep her in office.

At a couple points near Jacksonville her district is only 100 yards wide.

That's funny that it highlights sanford and pine hills aka crime hills. Both cities have the worst crime and ghetto's outside of orlando

It also incorporates the north Jacksonville ghettos. The area it is only 100 yards wide in basically incorporates US17 and the right of ways through a densely populated military and middle class neighborhood. If District Three just incorporated greater Jacksonville, she'd never be able to win.
 
McKinney's district has been redrawn yet again. The old 4th Congressional district in Georgia meandered through ethnic neighborhoods from Atlanta to the sea. It was redrawn to include most of Dekalb County due to a Federal judge panel calling it gerrymandered. She lost the Primary to Denise Majett. It was later again redrawn to favor her, and she moved back into office.

How the hell do you have your districts redrawn so it betters your chance of winning? It sounds illegal but there must be some loophole.
 
If the police don't know who the elected officials are , then that means that the police are a joke.

Striking the police officer was also wrong
It's interesting how the people are being attacked for thier skin color

If it were a black police officer not allowing a white representative into the office building , the cop would be removed.

There are 435 House and 100 senate officials. The cops aint gonna get it right every time, especially if they havent been there that long, or dont see every official often.
Besides, if it was a white representative being stopped you would expect him/her to follow the rules just like the rest of us. So it goes for McKinney.

I don't suppose you can provide a link for that bit of info? I believe McKinney and her backers were the ones who introduced race into this. As a matter of fact, she has earned a reputation as "The Rep who cried Racism"

I think all the commotion about her "getting off" is going to cost her more in the long run than if she had received a typical sentence
I read elsewhere that in the black community many of them are offended that she's getting a "pass" while most of them don't

Not even 5th graders think that level of police brutality is warranted.

Tell your mother that I will send my condolences that society has yet another flake that is better off being sunk on a boat or locked in death row then allowed to participate.
