This happens to me occasionally, but I can honestly say that I regularly sleep through alarms or am totally surprised by them far more regularly.

LOL, I do the opposite. The phone rings while i'm sleeping and I madly push buttons on the alarm clock trying to stop the noise.

Then I get up and get all ready for work, only to realize, I'm 2 or 3 hours early. (Due to the haphazard pushing of buttons in the night) I've done this twice.

So she walks in & then tickles my foot to wake me & says, "JANET! You're late! What's wrong? You didn't hear your alarm?".... I woke up & looked at her - then buried my face in my pillow & said, "MOM IT'S SATURDAY!!!"
