Question for you maing - do you know how far Dames Point is from the downtown area (i.e. around Alltel)? Is it close enough where I could drive a scooter from A to B? Also, what is the weather like right now?

I think he is gearing up for next Sunday. I talked to my mom every Sunday they are in SW FL and last week she told me they were having a cold spell only in the 60's and 70's

Oh I just realized you going to Jax for work right. It is a lot colder there then where my parents are at. I have no idea where you trying to go but that dam city is big and boring unless you got a good host. Should be pretty good next week mind you.

well, unfortunately I am the host, and have no damn clue about Jax, so I'll have todo a damn good job lying to the clients! but I do have access to some good parties, so if I have time those should be cool.

Dames Point is not that far from downtown...as the crow flies. It is a few miles (5 or so) by road. Downtown Jax is actually hard to get to, you'll be amazed at how poorly laid out this city is. You'll be coming in either on 95 south (the long way) or through a light industrial area next to the shittiest part of the city....where Alltel is.

Scooter? Maybe, prob not though...well, it would lose some of its charm.

Weather...anyone's guess bor.

Earlier this week, daytime lows were low 30s. Then later in the week, temps hit the mid 70s.

It could be a daytime high of 50, or 85. Prob 70s.
