Marijuana with DNP: Potentially benefical combo

With the rapid oxidation of fat during DNP use, there is a great release of free radicals... From an article in Discover Magazine:

"Hampson and his colleagues of the National Institute of Mental Health find that THC and cannibidiol, two chemicals found in the marijuana plant, are potent antioxidants which could prevent the death of brain cells in stroke victims. Unlike THC, cannibidiol is not a psychoactive substance--in other words, it doesn't cause a high--and it few side effects. In studies using rats neurons, Hampson's group determined that cannibidiol is at least as powerful as vitamins C and E in mopping up dangerous oxidizing compounds released during a stroke. The marijuana-derived chemical could even be useful for treating Alzheimer's, which may also involve neuron damage caused by oxidation. Hampson's work appears in the July Proceedings of the National Academy of Science. Who knew pot could help the brain?"

POT AND THE BRAIN

hey just to add some info to the pot helping the brain thing, ...........when marijuana is smoked, it delivers over 400 canabanoids with it, most of them we do not have an idea of what they do. .......what surprised me the most throughout my studies, is that the human brain actually has receptor sites for cannabanoids......i mean if that doesnt say something about pot.......i dunno what will......

In that post, I was by no means condoning marijuana use while using DNP or in the sport of bodybuilding. I was merely throwing something out there for public discoussion....

To those who asked why to not just use antioxidants, please re-read the article I posted. If antioxidants Vitiman C, E, and selinium were as effective as the antioxidants THC and cannibidiol, they would be used to treat strokes, alzhimezers, etc. I don't have the research by which to base a comparison of the effectiveness of marijuana based antioxidents with vitamins, but I'm sure that if vitamins were able to effectively block the oxidation of stroke victoms, then THC and cannibidiol would not be a potentially revolutionary treatment.

well it may be a good anti-oxidant, but what about the "weed-munchies" that you get after smoking a fat one, dnp hunger is bad enouph to be able to coupe with, add the weed-munchies into the mix and you are bound to blow your diet

If you don't have the will power to stick with your diet, your dedication to bodybuilding (or lack thereof) doesn't merrit the use of DNP anyway.

So eat clean, or drink some water, or just use willpower.

When I smoke weed, I do find that it is very hard to not eat like shit, but it helps not to have shit-food laying around in the first place!
