What do you think about the Beretta CX-4 Storm?

It looks buttugly. I guess Star Trek cast couldn't have figured soemthing worse. But on the other side, the price is fair, it takes Beretta 92's mags and with the vertical front grip, it makes a good CQB carbine. BTW it's pretty accurate. A good alternative to the Ruger PC-9. Again depends on what purpose you have in mind. Honestly, I don't really believe in pistol caliber carbines. I'd rather get a short AR-15 in .223 with soft point ammo or frangible (if overpenetration is really a concern). But for plinking, the CX-4 is a good choice. Now if they could make one in 10mm...

It appears they have a .45 ACP but it doesn't seem to be released yet anywhere. That would seem to be a good addition to those who have a 1911A in their arsenel.

As long as they keep the modular concept why not. That's why I still understand Glock's attitude. They could release a carbine for every caliber taking G17, 22, 31, 20, 21 mags. It would be an instant hit.

If they do release this in .45 ACP I think I'll get one, just because I can and test it out. It's cool looking in an ugly sort of way. And I like the idea I can use the same ammo in both.
