For the past two years or so I have been using Trader Joes raw oatbran as a carb source in shakes because of it's mixability and drinking ease. Trader Joes has recently stopped carrying/selling the oatbran so I had to go to a regular market and check out my options. I found Malt O meal, which almost beats oatbran as far as mixability and drinking ease goes, but it is far lower in fiber. What do you guys think of it as a good, low GI carb source? Is it too processed?
