Making fina for the first time

Friday morning I put the pellets into the “magic solution”. Today (Monday morning) 3 days later the pellets have yet to dissolve. I did not crush them up I put them in whole. Next time I’ll definitely crush. You think there is a chance that they didn’t give me enough magic solution in my 4g kit? Will they dissolve??

Its no big deal, add your oil, heat it, shake it well, and heat again....your ready for next step

Do not proceed until they are completely dissolved, you need to seperate the binders. Swirl it around every 15-20minutes, don't just let them sit...

The thing is I have been swirling the bottle around for a while. Yesterday I did it for about an hour and a half. I can tell that the pellets are smaller but not dissolved. Is this normal? The instructions said that the pellets would dissolve over night???

bring some water to a boil, take it off the burner, uncap your fina solution and swirl it around in the water for 10 or 20 mins which should speed up the pellets dissolving.

I'll give that a try. Seems weird to me that they are taking so long to dissolve? Is this common?

I've made it 3 times, every time took about 1-2 days to dissolve all the pellets...

This is why you crush the pellets or use a marble in there to agitate them.

yeah, it's better if you crush em, you could also take a glass stirring rod and break em up a bit if you have one.

I crushed mine into total powder by putting them in an envelope and rolling them with a rolling pin (you know, the kind your grandma threatened to beat you with) I let them disolve on their own for around 45min then heated them for another 15 and kept swirling it untill it cooled, once it cooled, all was well. Christ....3 days, I'm not that patient, I'd have been eating them by then! LOL

BTW, the rolling pin idea was courtesy of Quadsweep, it wasn't my idea....thank him.

Thanks for all the replys. 3 days is a long time to wait but I'm not due for my first fina shot for about another 3 weeks. Just making it ahead of time. I'll heat it up tonight and see if that takes care of it. Thanks again.

I use the straw method for crushing them.
