Hi, I'm new to all of this, but I want to introduce myself. I am 38 and a female and want to loose about 10 pounds and gain some muscle. I used to work out everyday when I was younger but hanvn't done anything in the last two years. I have Plantar Fasciitis (spurs in the heels when I run) and both of my knees are bad. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me if I should grin and bear the pain or will this just keep getting worse if I start working out and running again? I don't want to try and work out, and end up with a knee replacement Any advise?

well i can tell you as a fully certified ART chiropractor "pain is not weakness leaving the body"...find an ART doc to get that plantar fasciitis taken care of...he/she'll also be able to see about those knees...believe me it is worth the trip to find one...til then try cardio that's easier on the joints...cycling, swimming, etc...grinning and bearing it is for tax-season...

What exactly is an ART Doctor? I have a chiropractor, but I never mentioned anything about the knees and feet.

Thanks

any good chiro should be able to address your knees and feet...ART certified or not. The knees may be related to the plantar fascitis. Take care of one and the other may take care of itself.

I just realized you are in IL. Im a chiro in the chicagoland area. If you need any furthur help let me know
