I had a guy ship a package to me at my Mailboxes Etc. address, which is now The UPS Store under a different name. I didn't think it would be a problem but I haven't gotten the pack yet. Would it have been returned to sender if it was addressed to someone who's name is not on the box?

Maybe.
I know at the one I go to they dont like to receive any mail that is not addressed to the correct owner of the box.
So lets say it goes to your mailbox and its under a different name you might have problems.
Check with them and see what they say.

Yeah, that's probably the best bet. I was just wondering if there was a formal policy regarding it or if it's based on the individual branch.

I just heard back from the source. The package was returned to sender as "UNDELIVERABLE Commercial mail Receiving Agency no authorization to receive mail for this addressee".

Moral of the story: Use your own name when receiving packs at a PO Box or Mailboxes Etc.
