Mail process

Does anyone know if by radiating mail steriods will be destroyed. I ask b/c there is talk that the usps is going to implement such a policy in which mail is hit with a short nontoxic pulse of radiation. I know it kills bacteria, organisms, etc but not sure if it would break chemical bonds found in steriods thus making them useless........

As steriods are inorganic used in the tense meaning nonliving, I would venture to guess that they will not be effected.

I agree about the inorganic part but still not completely convinced b/c radiation can have effects in different ways...i have a buddy who i pursuing a phd in chemistry and i am going to ask him about it
