Mail delivery question, NOT mail order

I have a friend in another country that wants to send me something. What steps are necessary for having the package be delivered with out a signature requirement?

Tell him to send it with regural mail.
Usually Express or registered require signature.

He's right, regular mail is the only way that I have found and it really suks, I like the fact that when I go regular usps I can track and expect it in 3-4 days from europe.

Regular mail will not require a sig. It will show up in your mailbox.

The best way is parcel post. It will take longer but draw less attention, if it is gear. Otherwise, just regular 1st class mail!
