Yes, it is.

The sound of things like "restart" and "reinstall" make me laugh these days...those words used to be a part of my everyday vocabulary. I wonder how much of my life I wasted rebooting, reinstalling, waiting, CTL-ALT-DELETING, and downloading/installing updates for all of the programming fuck ups every three days?

Never tried to pirate the software (because it's not that expensive), but Mac's are a lot easier to be had these days. Check out the Apple website.

The learning curve is small, most major applications have a Mac version, and they run as smooth as glass.

I meant your adobe family of software, which is quite expensive. Probably more than your computer. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere, that sort of thing.

Mac's are still a year + behind on games and I can't make a living on a Mac...One of my best friends is a Macophile...back from 1992.... :)

I make more money with the system as opposed to fighting it....i tried and I'm a sell out. :)

But with the Intel based machines, developers are in full swing catching up. Shouldn't take long to close the gap and then people are gonna be like "Whoa".
