Lumbass

In the pre-op interview I expressed an interest in getting the screws out. So instead of doing arthroscopy they did an open procedure. Especially since there was a chance that through arthroscopy they would see something that would require them to open me up anyway. My doc is cool and flexible like that. They took out 2 of the screws, leaving one pin and one screw which are both enveloped by bone. They also removed some scar tissue and a ridge of bone. I'm happy they took out the srews but the downside is recovery is much longer from an open procedure than arthroscopy.

Basically 6-8 weeks of taking it easy, and then the PT starts, even though I don't have a splint or anything on.

Basically taking it very easy, taking lots of NSAIDs and some percocets and doing the best I can to not create more scar tissue!

Sorry I didn't see this before and thanks for the concern!
