Loyalty?

Do you set any limits on your loyalty?

How loyal are you?

What would cause you to walk away from a friendship?

As for me I am very loyal, some might say too loyal. It takes a serious violation of my trust for me to walk away from a friend. Even then, after the friendship is gone, I would never discuss what was said in private, no matter what the other person does. I have to live with myself and my own actions, they have to live with their actions.

same as me, i value my and others privacy, now more than ever

others dont, and it sucks:mad:

I am very loyal...definitely in friendships and moreso in my relationship with my S.O. I have to say that I used to TOO loyal...and allow myself to be walked over a bit before I really stood up for myself, but not anymore. I realize that people make mistakes and that they are truly sorry for them...and I allow room for that...but after so many times...give me a break.

In all my life, I have seen few rewards for loyalty. I'd like to change but it's ingrained in my very fabric of being. Few people have real good solid morals these days.

Morality seems to be a matter of convenience as of late.

Loyalty is very important to me, and I think it is something that you cannot successfully put limits on before hand. I think you have to set out to be loyal through and through and then if something happens to change that situation---you deal with it then.

Loyalty doesn't interest me. I'm no one's servant and don't expect anyone to be mine. I give and expect respect from others, not loyalty.

I used to think loyalty was admirable but as I get older, I'm not so sure.

People that I've been loyal to have fucked me over before.

Why even try?
