Low Sodium V8?

So whats the deal with this stuff? I like it, and it is made with some really good veggies and if you get the low salt one, it says it is 1 and a half the amount of vegetables needed in one day. I like salads and some veggies, but is drinking this a joke or does it really give you a solid source of real vegetable vits and minerals? I try to drink one a day and wonder if it is a waste of money. Thanks for any feedback you can provide.
 
I drink a cup usually before my workout as a source of sugar. But, of course, buying those vegetables seperately and eating them fresh will give you a better source of nutrients, as opposed to a highly processed veggie drink like V8.

As stated it's obviously very processed...sugar content is also a negative...but there is a shitload worse things to drink. Personally I don't like drinking calories unless it's a protein shake. Before workout I would say "okay"...I usually try to get something fruit or vegetable related carbs/sugars before lifitng. IMHO

I went and looked at my cans of V8 and it only shows 6 grams of sugar. I don't see that as hardly anything considering all the vegetable nutrients you ge back from it. I usually drink it mid afternoon when I get hungry and only have a sec. The thing that sucks is that it doesn't go very well with of the mid day meal/snack items I like. Like V8 and a banana? EEWW. lol

Dude I know people that blend tuna and pineapples/oranges for power shakes. V8 and a banana is certainly palatable
