Low Dose T3 cycle duration

I know from other posts that the consensus is that a t3 cycle should last no longer than 6 weeks. However, I am currently on a low dose course of 20mcg per day. My question is, could I remain on the t3 for longer as a result of the fact that I am on a low dose without any adverse effects on my thyroid?
