Stats, about 200 lbs, about 9% BF.
I started doing 200 mg/day some 12 days ago.
I have read a lot of guys say that you would feel next to no sides with such a dose, or only of you really exerted yourself.
Well, my experience is different.
I did 400 mg/day a while back (for 8 days). The sides on that were very noticeable (of course) and almost constant. I mean, they may feel better or worse throughout the day, but you almost ALWAYS "felt" like you were warm (at least ... LOL) and tired (and just wiped out by the end of the week).
The difference with 200 is that you DO have a lot of time when you don’t really feel anything. You may just have a bit less energy than usual, but other than that, a lot of time you don’t really know you are on it.
BUT, you DO have time when it kicks in.
I have had a few nights in the past week when I had one hell of a time sleeping. I did have night sweats. Not as bad as when doing a higher dose, but it was still there.
Also, I have had more than a few sweating spells during the day. I went to a party last night. It was not really hot at all,. maybe 68 degrees or so, and yeah, probably a bit humid (like 1/4 mile from the beach). I was in a T-Shirt and like chinos, and was sweating my ass off!
This week, week 2, is a bit harder than week 1. I am not really "up" on all of the terminology, but ........ it seems when you are on a high-dose DNP cycle, that the first like 2-3 days are taken in your body like burning off ..... something (ATP? Glycogen? I dunno WHAT .... but ya know what I mean ....) .... then you get into the real fat burning and the real sides.
Well, it seems that at a low dose, you end up taking a longer time to get to that stage. It really was like a good 6 days at least before any real effects started to kick in. And it seems like the sides are getting a bit worse day by day.
This is working out ok, its manageable, But its NOT the gravy-train that many people claim a low-dose DNP cycle to be. Yes, its much better than a high dose, and yeah, its still effective and its the price you pay . but guys should know that when people say you wont feel any sides at 200 mgs, they are NOT talking from experience.
Maybe some individuals have that experience, but I am not that extraordinary in my reactions to substances, so I would imagine my experience will probably be similar to many.
One cool point though.
I hurt my shoulder – bad - like last Monday. I have had to stay away from the gym for the past 2 week. This sucks.
I just came off a cycle recently, so I am holding on to my gains. Clomid just ended.
The cool thing is that from what I have read, DNP seems to have strong anti-catabolic properties. So, during this time period when I would otherwise be susceptible to losing some lean mass, and especially since I can’t go to the gym anyway (which would make it worse) it appears that this low-dose DNP cycle is just the thing I need to hold onto the gains.
I figure, the longer I hold them the more apt I am to keep 'em. It like the body "resets" (to some degree) where its "normal" pt is.
OK, and before people say "go do legs", well, my legs are naturally large for my body anyway. It really pisses off the guys that work legs like animals – I have always had big legs for my size. Usually, I only work them heard every 2 weeks, and light on in-between weeks. But the last thing I want to do is hit my legs when I am NOT hitting the rest of my body. I don’t want to be a bottom-heavy disproportionate body type. (Symmetry and proportion are important to me, more so that just SIZE).
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone considering a low-dose DNP cycle.
