Low Blood Sugar Attacks

Does anyone know anything about low blood sugar when on a cycle.
It also happens when off a cycle but more frequently when on.
Tried may different diet plans nothing seems to work. My Doctor has prescribed Metformin 500mg tabs. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? Any suggestions are welcome.

i have had this before. a few times before i would train at 6pm, have 50g whey after and then not eat till 10pm and i`d be in bed unable to sleep and i`d get a huge craving for food, due to low blood sugar having not eaten enough after training and i`d wind up eating two bowls of cereal, a whole malt loaf, three bananas, etc in like 15 mins. it was fucking crazy stuff. luckily i dont get it now as i eat 6 meals a day with complex carbs, maybe your diet is to blame?

seriuosly just have some fruit juice with you at all times and have a small cup whenever you feel the need.

this happens to me sometimes and is caused by 3 things

1) excess caffeine
2) training too hard for too long
3) long night out drinking alcohol

thre problem is always solved with 6-8 ounces of good ole OJ.

I will turn your stomach upside down. Sometimes for a month before you get used to it.
I suggest you use something proven more effective. Insulow has no side effects and works better than metformin.

The diet doesn't do anything- I have tried just about all of them. It doesn't matter if I drink alcohol, not train, or the caffeine. The symptons that I am having are sweating, dizziness, heart palpations and shakness. This is not a tyroid problem (it can give similar symptons). Keeping juice doesn't work with me. The only thing that seems to help is white bread. I have seen seven or eight doctors and no one has figured anything out ...so I am giving this medicine a try.

I have cronic low blood sugar (if that is a real thing?) And it SUCKS ASS!

I start getting really hot, and then I get dizzy as hell................after that (about 1-2 mins later) I start to feel really tired, and then I start shaking like a MOFO.

I thought I was dying the first time it happened to me :)

Anyway, it doesn't seem to be worse while 'on', it is just a normal thing for me. I try to eat SOMETHING every 2 hours and that really helps. no meal is a complete meal without some carbs AND protien. If you eat just one or the other, it will fuck with your blood sugar. Also, stay away from sweets and sugary foods.

If you start feeling it get low, drink some OJ. That is the BEST thing to do when you are in DIRE NEED. other than that, just eat REGULARLY.
