Lose creatine gain while on AAS.???

Lets say a person has been training and taking creatine. While on the creatine this person is up 7 to 8 lbs. due to the effects of creatine. Now ya start takin aas and are starting to gain and run out of creatine. Can you lose those 7 to 8 lbs from stopping creatine??? Also Diet and training is in check as well.

Generally speaking th mechanism of creatine intake increases fluid in the muscle as a result of stored phosphocreatine. There is some debate as to what amount of creatine gains are a result of muscle mass increase due to increased training intensity and recovery. I have run creatine off cycle for years. Generally I do notice when I stop but I think the chances are good you will retain most of the actual muscle gained from the creatine use.

How long were you taking it?
 
Are you talking pounds of weight or pounds of strength?

Generally anabolics should prevent muscle atrophy, so strength and muscle size shouldn't be lost.

However, weight can also be due to water retention and that can be all over the place depending on the juice type, other diet factors, etc. Honestly I never really care about my exact weight while cycling because it will fluctuate a lot and isn't always meaningful. I assess progress more by strength and by "feeling".

The one reason though I like to continue creatine while on AAS is that it seems to make my muscles function a bit better -- not tire quite as quickly -- so the quality of your workouts might decrease. But that is probably a personal thing, or maybe even just mental.
 
I have been taking creatine for a year straight now, low dose 2.5grams to 5grams depending on my supply. Within that year if i ran out of creatine, I would lose about 7lbs of water in the cells of the muscle. Then when I came across money I just would go buy more and gain the 7-8 lbs back. whithin that year of creatine use i did get my bodyweight up to 177-180 from 157-160.180 was my juice weight 10 years ago when I used them. Funds are tight so I dont have endless supplies of creatine, whey, glutamine, and multi's. I was just wondering, but I am goin to go ahead and get some more and just take 2.5 to 5 grams a day while on cycle. Then when its time for pct up the dosage and yes I already have my serm's and supplements on hand. Thanx for the input. Also this is the first cycle Im runnin with the proper nohow due to this site. Cycles in the past were post internet, and in the middle of my club scene days. So the only gains i saw back then was waterweight. Thanx Also I am up to 188 from 180 in three weeks. I am only 5'7" and my bodyfat is at 15%.

Don't some aas increase creatine synthesis as well? Like var for example. So it would be prudent to be on creatine while taking that drug.

noobs tend to stress over weight too much. it means nothing.. stats mean nothing.. when you walk on stage at a BB comp do the judges judge you based on your stats on paper or how you look?

your best bet is taking pics of yourself to gage progress, don't go by what the scale says. I gained 2 pounds once on my primo cycle, but my before and after pics I looked way better after. current cycle of tren I have gained 4 pounds but look at my tren log and see the before and after pics. my after pics blow the before pics away
 
I am uploading my before pic right now. 180" 5'7" I am at the end of forth week of taking only 350mg of test complex a week. I am at 192lbs now. I now most is water and some fat. I agree its all about how ya look. I came to realize that 5 to 6 years ago, but thiers something about that scale that seems to call you over thier, even though weight dont meen sh**. My father stepped on stage back in the 80's short class division only weighing 168lbs, but had 19" guns a full thick chest and place 2nd one year and 3rd another. Its all about fat percentage and blah blah blah. This aint my first rodeo. I am out of creatine anyways but i still managed to bump up a few pounds. Just started h-drol yesturday to take with my low dose test cycle. Dont laugh.... I am goin to keep a log.. As far as the creatine goes. i will save it in the pct, which i do have in order.
 
Hey thanx for the edit on my post, Stevesmi. I may be a noob to this site but as far as lifting and diet goes its in my bloodline. Been doin it of and on since "95". I remember my father showin me tricep ext. back in the late 80's. I just wanted to post about creatine and aas. You are tellin me not to stress over a few pounds and you seem to remember gaining 2 lbs from a primo cycle and 4 lbs from a tren cycle. Sounds to me you were doin the same thing everyone does on any kind of cycle or just lifting clean. Jumpin on the scale. Man i poop 2 lbs at a time..lol Gains of 2 lbs and 4 lbs. That fluxuation weight bro.
 
Im on my second cycle and during the middle of this test only cycle I stopped creatine and yes I did drop the water weight caused by creatine. (water only). Then a month later I started the creatine and gained the 5 6ish lbs of water back. So,I answered my question thru personal experiance. By the why steviesmi you need to learn how to crop a picture, unless that was a joke. You have a pic of a waterbloated guy and then the face is cut out and the cut out face has a pic of dom delouise or some fatass guy..idk if it was a joke but its been like that since the origional post date. My current stats are 5' 7" 210 12% bf test e only 750mg a week.
