Loosing Small, Newly Growing Hair

Guys, I finished steroid use 3 months ago & my hair has thinned out significantly. What I have noticed is that the hair which are falling are only very small (2-3mm) comapred to the rest of the hair. WHY IS THIS.

Need more info - were you taking any hairloss prevention treatments while on cycle?

no I wasnt using anything & I understand that this has definately contributed to the loss, but I wanna know why only the new hair a falling out & not others.

I can't be 100% about this but it sounds like the hair is growing back because your cycle is finished but although the follicle is still alive it is damaged or it is being strangled by excess DHT in the scalp so I would suggest you get some anti-DHT shampoo and some Xandrox or Proscar/Propecia which should encourage some regrowth, the permanancy of which depends on how prone you are to MPB! For future cycles do a search cos there is loads of hairloss threads which will tell you which treatments to use with each drug and more importantly which ones not to use with a particular drug either because it would be ineffective or because it would exacerbate the hairloss eg. Finasteride with any Nandrolones! OK Bro?
