looking for computer game recommendations

I need to have it out with my boss - over our fat ass network. We want a shoot'em up network game, the more blood and guts, the better.

Any recommendations? Nothing x-rated.

I always hear HalfLife and Unreal Tournament get high marks. I've never been a big FPS fan.

Return to Wolfenstein is also supposed to be very good.

great shoot em up but more on the realistic side (i.e. only a few shots kill, not remote devices etc)


or half-life......brilliant for multiplayer. quake is good too, but half life is the shiat....remote mines, remote detanoated satchels, big guns, RPG's, experimental weapons, heat seeking bullets etc

Quake 3 is fucking great for simple multiplayer shit..it doesnt require much gaming skill to play...same with unreal tournament. counterstrike on the otherhand is fucking amazing, but takes time and skill to get the game down.

Quake 2 is the best game you can get for your pc if you don't have a 3d accelerator. We play every day at lunch.

The original half life is the best. I spent hours playing it until I beat the game.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is amazing. In the multi player version, comes with the single, you, and your team can raid the beach of Normandy, or be the Germans and hold it off. There are also alot of different scenarios you can use.
